The SPR “House Band”
Jimmy Sage: drums, percussion, keyboards, background vocals. Jimmy has played with Leon Russell, Lee Rocker, Scotty Moore (Elvis’ band), Dave Edmunds, Willie Nelson, Joe Henderson, The Vents, Cat’s Cradle, Jinx Jones, The Flaming O’s, The Egrets, Left on Lonely, Purvis and the Stray Dogs, and Great Blue Heron. Jimmy earned a music degree from San Francisco State.
Jeff Harris: vocals, bass, drums, guitars, slide, pedal steel, banjo, mandolin, Dobro, keyboards, saxophones, clarinet, flute He is a summa cum laude graduate of Berklee College of Music/Boston Conservatory. Jeff Has played and/or recorded with Driving Wheel, Backseat Boogie, Merle Travis, Bailey Breeden and Harris, The Saint Paul Singers, the Juneau Light Opera, The Chugach Mountain Ramblers, Electric Blanket and Singers Marin. He’s also studied at Family Light Music School, Blair School of Music, Crossroads Music School, Take the Stage at the Freight and Salvage, the Walker Creek Music Camp, the California Bluegrass Association.
Mary Anderson: vocals, guitar, percussion, dulcimer. Mary has played or recorded with Joan Baez, Electric Blanket, Left on Lonely, The Egrets, and Singers Marin. She has studied at Blair School of Music, Crossroads Music School, Take the Stage at the Freight and Salvage, the Walker Creek Music Camp, and the California Bluegrass Association.
Jasmine Sagebiel: vocals, piano. Jasmine is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music/Boston Conservatory, where she also served as assistant to Bonnie Hayes, the Chair of the Songwriting Department. Jasmine has played or recorded with Narada Michael Walden, Jazzy (on SPR) and Great Blue Heron. She currently plays with the band Walt the Dog.

Lynn Asher: vocals. Lynn has played or recorded with Asher and Paige, Big Brother and the Holding Company, The Lynn Asher Band, Narada Michael Walden, Jerry Harrison, Miles Schon, James Moseley, Bob Weir, James Nash, Raz Kennedy, Vicki Randle, Bonnie Hayes and Danny Click and the Hell Yeah’s!
Sandy Griffith: vocals. Sandy has played or recorded with Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Elton John, Al Jarreau, Narada Michael Walden, Howard Hewitt, Patti Austin, Oleta Adams, Regina Belle, Boz Scaggs, Huey Lewis and the News, Kenny Loggins and Jonathan Butler and others.
Jesse Ray Smith : vocals and backing vocals. He is a songwriter, guitarist and singer who has performed with Bad Jones, Bone Flowers, Nicki Bluhm, Joan Baez, and his own band, Burden Feathers.
Jesse Bradman: vocals and backing vocals, keyboards. He has recorded and performed with Eddie Money, Night Ranger, Poison, UFO and many other rock and pop artists.
Andrew Bundy: vocals and backing vocals, keyboards. He is a singer-songwriter, actor and musical director.
Frank Michels: guitars, fiddle, mandolin, banjo, bass, keyboards. Frank has played with Brenda Lee, Tanya Tucker, Deborah Allen, Ronnie McDowell, and Michele Wright, among others. He is also a vocalist and songwriter.
Mark Shepherd: guitars, bass, vocals. Mark has played with The Larkdales, Singers Marin, The Egrets, and Left on Lonely. He’s studied at Crossroads Music School.
Noah Harris: congas. Noah has played with The Egrets. He’s an avid hand drummer and drummer.
Dan Barbee: keyboards. Dan has played and recorded with Marble Party, Red House Painters, the von Bondies, Michael LaMacchia, James Michael, Buckeye, Nuclear Rabbit, and The Egrets.
Joe Kyle Jr.: acoustic bass. Joe has played with HowellDevine, Rick Estrin and the Night Cats, Great Blue Heron, The Waybacks, The Hot Club of San Francisco, Americano Social Club, Drew James, David T Carter, Corrine West and Nancy Wright.
Joe Goldmark: pedal steel. Joe has his own band, The Seducers. He has also played or recorded with Jim Campilongo and the 10 Gallon Cats, Peter Rowan, Jim Lauderdale, the Billy C. Farlow Band, the Texas Chainsaw Band, the Ray Price Club, Mental Revenge, the Twangbangers, Dallas Wayne and the Dave Gleason Band.
Doug Adamz: fiddle. Doug has his own band. He’s a prolific and much covered songwriter. He’s played with Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, Joan Baez, Peter Rowan, Huey Lewis, Stevie Coyle and Doug Young, Maria Muldaur, and Jim Messina.
Marcia Miget: saxophones. Marcia has a music school in San Rafael. She has recorded with Ricky Lee Jones, Anthony Brown and Dartanyan Brown, among others. She has also played with Singers Marin.
